BABY CORN MANCHURIAN

INGREDIENTS 
1 cup baby corn chopped
oil for deep frying

For Batter: 
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornflour
3-4 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp of soya sauce
water for making thick batter

For Sauce:
1 small chopped onion
4-5 garlic pods chopped finely
1/4 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 1/4 cup water

METHOD
Chop baby corn as shown in pic 1. Make batter by mixing flour, tomato sauce and soya sauce, add water to make thick consistency batter. Coat baby corn in the batter. Deep fry in hot oil.

Remove in absorbent paper and keep aside.


Take 1/4 cup and dissolve cornflour in it.

Heat oil in a pan, saute chopped onion till golden in colour. Add chopped garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add tomato sauce, soya sauce and vinegar. Mix well. Add cornflour dissolved water and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add deep dried baby corn and mix well.

Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve!

2. Make batter using ingredients mentioned under batter and coat babycorn in it.








3. Deep fry. Remove in absorbent paper and keep aside.








4. Take pan, heat oil add, onion and saute till golden in colour. Add garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes.










5. Add tomato sauce, soya sauce and vinegar. Mix well and add cornflour dissolved water.








6. Cook for 1-2 minutes.








7. Add deep fried baby corn and mix well.












8. Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve!
