INGREDIENTS
For Base:
1 cup all purpose flour OR 1/2 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp softened butter
1 tsp lemon zest/peel
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
For Filling:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp lemon zest
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
METHOD
For Base:
Wash and grate lemon to get zest. Keep aside.
In a bowl, take flour and softened butter. Rub butter with flour to get crumbled texture. Now add lemon zest, powdered sugar and egg and make smooth dough.
For Filling:
Mix all the ingredients and make thin batter as shown in pic below.
Divide dough in equal portion and make small balls of it. Grease tart moulds with butter.
Keep the ball in center of the mould and spread it softly all around the tart and bake it for 15 minutes or till half baked in pre-heated 180°C .
Take out and add filling in it and again bake for 15-20 minutes or till filling is baked.
Check by piercing knife or fork, comes out clean, its baked.
Garnish with sliced lemon and serve.

8. Don't forget to prick it all over.
9. Pre-heat oven at 180°C and bake it for 15 minutes till half-baked.
10. Like this.
11. Now add filling and again bake it for 15-20 minutes or till filling is baked checking by piercing knife or fork, if comes out clean it's done.
12. Tart is baked.
13. Garnish with thinly sliced lemon and serve!
