BROCCOLI MANCHURIAN

Serves: 8-10 medium sized Manchurian 
INGREDIENTS
For Manchurian balls

1 medium sized broccoli
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp soya sauce
1/2 tsp salt
Oil for frying

For sauce
1 medium sized finely chopped onion
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp soya sauce
3 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp cornflour dissolved in1/4 cup water 


METHOD
For balls
Blanch broccoli by boiling 2-3 cups of water in deep sauce pan,  add broccoli florets and boil on high flame for only 2 minutes, don't over cook. Now transfer this in ice cold water for 1-2 minutes. 

Process blanch broccoli in food processor or blend finely in blender. Add 
all the mentioned ingredients in it. Mix well and bind everything together.

Now make small or desired sized balls. Deep fry on medium flame. First fry one ball to check the temperature, in case balls break while frying add 1-2 tbsp more cornflour, bind again and deep fry.

Take out on absorbent paper.

For Sauce:
In pan, heat some oil, sauté finely chopped onion till translucent. Add chopped garlic, sauté for 1-2 minute. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar and sugar. Mix well. Add cornflour mixed water. Mix well. Add fried balls. Coat balls well the sauce. 


Garnish with chopped spring onions leaves. Serve.

8. Deep fry. Keep aside.

1. Sauté finely chopped onions till golden in colour.










2. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar and sugar.










3. Add cornflour-water. Mix well.











4. Add deep fried balls.














5. Garnish with chopped spring onion.
