Summer is the time when you feel like having more chilled drinks and ice-creams. I have written many recipes on beverages.
My kids are big fan of KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) and virgin mojito. So thought of making it at home according to my kids taste.
Mojito is made with both alcohol and without alcohol. Here, for sure, I have made non-alcoholic mojito.
In non-alcoholic mojito, mostly club soda is added, but here I used it Limca. Adding Limca is optional, if you want you can add club soda, sprite, 7up, mountain Dew etc. depending on the taste and availability.
While muddling leaves, lemon and sugar, small leaves might come in mouth while drinking which many kids don't like, make sure to strain those leaves before serving.
INGREDIENTS
5-6 mint leaves
1/2 lemon cut into wedges
2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup limca / sprite
1/4 cup water
ice-cubes
Serves: 1 glass
Pictorial:
1. Take serving glass, add lemon wedges, sugar and mint leaves.
2. Muddle these with the help of back side of wooden spoon.
3. It's done.
4. Now add water.
5. Ice cubes and Limca or club soda.
6. Strain the leaves.
7. Serve chilled.
8. Garnish with mint leaf and lemon.
9. Close-up.
