CHOCOLATE PUDDING


INGREDIENTS
3 tbsp cornflour
1/2 cup (100 gm) dark chocolate (semi-sweet)
2 glasses milk + 1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp butter
1-2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup sugar (adjust according to your taste)
some sprinklers and choco chips for garnishing

For Nutella Layer
3/4 cup heavy cream (chilled)
3 tbsp powdred sugar
1/2 cup Nutella
1/4 cup prepared chocolate pudding

METHOD
In a bowl, mix together cornflour and 1/4 cup milk and keep aside.

Roughly chop dark chocolate.

In heavy-bottomed pan, add milk (2 glasses) and roughly chopped chocolate and heat over medium flame. Stir occasionally till chocolate has melted. Keep scraping the edges of pan to avoid burning of chocolate.

Now add sugar, cocoa powder and dissolved cornflour- milk to it. Keep stirring in between and cook on medium flame till mixture thickens. It will take around 10-15 minutes.

Remove from heat add butter. Keep aside and let it come down to room temperature.






 


BEFORE TURNING OFF THE FLAME DO CHECK THE SUGAR LEVEL AND CONSISTENCY OF PUDDING AND ADJUST ACCORDING. 

DON'T FORGET TO SCRAP THE EDGES OF PAN WHILE COOKING TO AVOID BURNING OF CHOCOLATE.


FOR NUTELLA LAYER

Keep bowl in freezer for 5-10 minutes in which you are going to whip the cream.

Take cream in chilled bowl and whip with the help of beater till  its little fluffy. Now add sugar and beat again. Add Nutella and chocolate pudding (room temperature or cold not hot). Beat them all.

Now, let's do the layering. Take tall glass or bowl.

Fill 1/2 cup with chocolate pudding now add Nutella Layer around 1/4 and again put Chocolate Pudding. Garnish with cream, choco-chips.


NUTELLA LAYER IS OPTIONAL IF IT'S NOT AVAILABLE YOU CAN SIMPLY CHILL THE CHOCOLATE PUDDING AND SERVE.

1. Take cornflour in bowl.








2. Dissolve with water or milk.








3. And keep aside.








4. Warm milk on medium flame in heavy bottomed pan.








5. Add sugar depending on your taste.









6. Add chopped dark chocolate.








7. Stir it and let chocolate dissolve completely.








8. Now add cornflour-milk mix stirring milk continuously.








9. Cook it on medium flame for 15-20 minutes or till mixture thickness well. Keep scraping the edges from pan to avoid burning of chocolate.








10. Now add butter.








11. Cook it again for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame and let it come down to room temperature.




 



FOR NUTELLA LAYER:








1. Chill the bowl in freezer for 5-10 minutes, take chilled heavy cream whip it till fluffy. Add powdered sugar.








2. Add Nutella and whip.








3. Now add chocolate pudding (room temperature). Whip again.



4. Now take glass or bowl in which u want to serve pudding. Fill the glass half with chocolate pudding using fennel or piping bag for neatness or your simply pour with spoon.











5. Then 1/4 with Nutella pudding.











6. Garnish with sprinkler and choco-chip.
















 7. Set in fridge for 5-6 hours or overnight.



8. Serve chilled.
