3-4 bread slices
1/2 cup boiled and chopped potato(optional)
1 cup thick curd
1 chopped onion
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp kasuri meethi
black salt and chilli as per taste
1/4 tsp sugar
1 tbsp aloo bhujia
1 tsp roasted and powdered cumin
1 tsp butter
1 tbsp tamarind chutney (Imli chutney)
coriander leaves for garnishing

Cut the edges of bread and toast it on tawa with some butter or in toaster till crispy. Slice it in 4 parts as shown in pic below. Keep aside.

In a bowl, take boiled and chopped potato add some salt, kasuri meethi and chaat masala. Mix well.

Prepare curd with little black salt and sugar in it. Mix well. CAREFUL WHILE ADDING SALT AS POTATO TOO HAVE.

Take sliced bread, put chopped potato over it, chopped onion, tamarind chutney, curd then some powdered cumin powder and red chili (optional) and then aloo bhujia.

You can add boiled chana and green chutney, I didn't use green chutney as my kids don't like it. Add tamarind/imli chutney. click here for imli chutney recipe.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.



1. Toast bread slices with some butter from both the sides.

2. Cut it into slices.

3. In a bowl, take boiled and chopped potato, add salt.

4. Chaat masala.

5. Kasuri meethi. Mix well.

6. Take a bowl of thick curd add some black salt and sugar in it. Mix well.

7. Keep bread slices on serving tray, add prepared potato, chopped onion, some coriander.

8. Put imli chutney.

9. Spread prepared curd all over and aloo bhujia.

10. Sprinkle cumin powder, red chili (optional) , garnish with coriander leaves and serve!!
