CUTLET KATHI ROLL

INGREDIENTS
For filing:
2 large thinly sliced onions
2 medium thinly sliced capsicum
2 medium thinly sliced carrots
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp tomato sauce
salt and chili to taste

For Cutlet:
2 large boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup boiled and mashed peas (optional)
1/4 cup boiled and roughly chopped corns (optional)
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp kasuri meethi
salt and chili to taste
1 tbsp cornflour
1 cup bread crumbs


For Rolls:
whole wheat flour dough
1 cup processed cheese (grated)



 


METHOD

For Filing:
In a pan, saute onions till golden, add sliced carrots and capsicum. Saute till it becomes little soft.

Add salt, tomato sauce and oregano. Mix well. Keep aside.

For cutlet:
In a bowl mix well all the above ingredients mentioned under cutlet except for cornflour and bread crumbs.
Make medium sized cutlets. Dip in cornflour batter, coat well in breadcrumbs and deep fry.

For Rolls:
Take whole wheat flour dough and make big sized chapati.

Remove from fire. Spread tomato sauce or pizza sauce all over well. Keep one cutlet and then saute veggies.

Now melt some butter in pan, keep the roll and roast it from all the sides on high flame.

4. Make cutlet of any shape.












5. Dip in cornflour batter and coat in breadcrumbs.













6. Deep fry.












7. Cutlets are ready.












8. Take dough.













9. Make chapati and spread tomato or pizza sauce all over, then one cutlet.













10. Add saute veggies.













11. Generously add grated cheese or cheese slice.













12. Roll it. Melt butter on pan or tawa, let it roast till crisp and brown.












13. All over.














14. Wrap in foil and serve!!
