INGREDIENTS
1 cup suji (semolina)
1/2 cup curd
1/2 tsp eno or any fruit salt
1 chopped onion
1 tomato pureed or finely chopped
1/4 cup grated cheese
hot water for batter
salt and chili to taste
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (optional)
1/4 tsp coriander powder
METHOD
In a bowl, mix suji and curd. Add hot boiling water and keep aside.
In a pan, put little oil, add chopped onion, let it saute add salt, turmeric powder, garam masala and coriander powder. mix well add tomato. Cook till it becomes soft and get incorporated well. Turn off the flame and transfer masala in bowl or plate add grated cheese and mix well.
Grease idli molds well with oil. Add eno in suji batter.
Fill idli mould till half with suji batter, then add onion-cheese masala over it and put suji batter.
Steam on medium flame for 4-5 minutes.
Cheesy idlis are ready to serve!

3. In a pan, saute onion till golden add spices and tomato puree. Cook till it leaves oil.
4. Transfer in a bowl or plate add grated cheese.
5. Add eno in suji batter just before putting in mould. First add suji batter then spoonful of masala.
6. Then cover remaining mould with suji batter.
7. Steam it for 5-6 minutes.
