VEGEATABLE MANCHURIAN WITH VEG NOODLES

INGREDIENTS
For Manchurian Balls:
1 cup minced cabbage
1/4 cup minced carrot
1-2 minced capsicum
1 minced onion
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp all purpose flour (Maida)
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 
green chilli (optional)
Oil for frying

For Gravy:
1 tbsp all purpose flour (Maida)
2 tbsp cornflour
salt and pepper to taste
2-3 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic


METHOD
Boil 2 cup water and add minced cabbage in it. Cover and cook till cabbage is soft and done. Strain excess water in colander. Keep stock (water of boiled cabbage) aside.Squeeze water from cabbage if required.

In a bowl, mix boiled cabbage, onions, capsicum and carrot. Add salt and pepper. Add ginger-garlic paste.

Add tomato sauce, soya sauce, all-purpose flour and cornflour. Mix well.

Mix it well and make small balls of it. Mixture should not be thin and loose.

Now deep fry these balls in hot oil on low flame (Check whether balls have cooked from inside by piercing tooth pick in it).


For gravy:
Take vegetable stock add cornflour and all-purpose flour in it. Mix well.

In a pan, heat oil,add garlic and saute till golden in color. Add vegetable-cornflour mix in it.


Add soya sauce and tomato sauce. Let it cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes. If gravy is too thick add more water.

 You can adjust portion of cornflour according to the consistency of gravy you want.

Add fried Manchurian balls and serve with VEGETABLE NOODLES

BOILING CABBAGE IS OPTIONAL, IF YOU HAVE BLENDER OR FOOD PROCESSOR, MINCE THE CABBAGE AND USE.

3. In a bowl, mix all the veggies.















4. Add 2 all-purpose flour, cornflour, salt, pepper, 1 tbsp soya and tomato sauce.



















5. Mix well and make small balls.



















6. Deep fry in hot oil on low flame.
















7. And keep aside.


8. Take vegetable stock and mix 2 tbsp cornflour and 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)















9. Heat oil in pan, add finely chopped garlic, saute till golden.
















10. Add vegetable-cornflour mix stock.















11. Add 2 tbsp tomato and soya sauce. Mix well and cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes. Add Manchurian balls and serve.


12. Serve with VEGETABLE NOODLES
