CHOCOLATE FRUITY MODAK

INGREDIENTS
For Filling:
3/4 cup tutti fruity or finely chopped dried cherries
1/2 cup condensed milk
1 cup coconut powder


For Outer Part:
150 gms Marie biscuits (or any light biscuit of your choice)
1/2 cup coconut powder (dessicated coconut)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup condensed milk


METHOD
For filling:
Mix all the ingredients well and make medium sized balls. You can vary proportion of ingredients according to your taste. Keep aside.

For Outer Part:
Grind biscuit to make smooth powder. Add rest of the ingredients and make dough combining them with hands. Keep dough non-sticky. (By adding more of condensed milk it can become over sweet and sticky too, so add condensed milk little by little).


Divide dough in equal portion. make medium sized balls. Press it flat from center. Add filling. Seal it from sides giving it a shape of modak.

Your modak is ready to serve.

4. Add 1/2 cup condensed milk.















5. Mix well and make medium sized balls.















6. Grind marie biscuits to form smooth powder.



















7. Add 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup coconut powder.















8. Mix it well.















9. Add 1/2 or more condensed milk little by little.















10.Combine all the ingredients to make dough.















11. Divide dough in equal portion and make medium sized balls. Press it flat and make well in center.















12. Add coconut cherry filling in it.


13. Your Modaks are ready. Dust some coconut powder over it.
