INGREDIENTS
250 gms pasta
1-2 finely sliced capsicum (optional)
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp oregano
chili flakes (optional)
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 large finely chopped onion
1 cup grated mozzarella or processed cheese
2 tbsp butter
METHOD
Boil pasta in good amount of water with some salt in it. Stain excess water and keep aside.
In a bowl, roast whole wheat flour with 2 tbsp butter in it, till fragrant. Add milk stirring continuously as to avoid any lumps in it. Add salt, pepper, oregano and cheese. Mix well and keep aside.
In other pan, heat oil and add finely chopped garlic, saute till golden in color. Add sliced capsicum. Saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add prepared white sauce in capsicum mixture. Add boiled pasta and mix well.
Transfer this mixture in greased oven proof bowl and bake it for 10-15 minutes or till golden in color at 220°C.
Take out the dish and sprinkle 1/2 cup grated cheese over it and bake it again for 5 minutes or till cheese melts.
Serve hot.
