INGREDIENTS
2 kg carrot
2 liter milk
1/2 kg (500gm) sugar
1 cup homemade khoya / mawa (optional)
1 cup roasted nuts of your choice (almonds, cashews and pistachios)
METHOD
Wash and grate carrot. Transfer in heavy bottomed pan. Keep flame high and dry all the water of carrot, keep stirring to avoid burning.
Once water is dried add milk and cook on high flame, stirring occasionally. Let milk dried up. Once milk is completely dried add sugar. You will see sugar releasing lot of water. Keep flame high and keep stirring occasionally. Once water from sugar is dried, reduce the flame to low and let cook for 3-4 minutes, make sure there is little moisture in it.
Add grated homemade khoya / mawa, mix well. Add roasted dry fruits. Turn off the flame, serve hot!!
